Tormented Souls rescues classic RESI 2
The first thing I accidentally snapped into a twitch chat about Tormented Souls was: Some indie developer will soon get an Old School Resi Clone . This woke up with me only careful interest. On the one hand, I am a fan of the good old survival horror, on the other hand, many small teams at the original resident evil and silent Hill formula, but rarely successful. Tormented Souls, however, surprised me extremely positively. Gameplay in front of history Almost all horror games of this world have in common that they would like to provide us a tingling gruselate atmosphere, always somewhere between gloomy, mysterious and morbid. Apart from that, the genre is very wide. Some titles such as Layers of Fear are rather narrative experiences than fun gameplay experiences. The mechanics consist mainly of simple exploration and act as if they had been put on the story in retrospect.
